PA6GF30

PA6GF30 is a Glass Fiber Reinforced PA66-related engineering plastic grade, consisting of a PA6 base material reinforced with 30% chopped alkali-free glass fiber by mass. Designed as a general-purpose material for injection molding, it is available in natural gray-white and black. Custom grades are available for impact modification, V0 flame retardancy, low-temperature resistance, and low fiber float. With higher strength and stiffness than PA6GF20, PA6GF30 is well suited for high-load precision structural components requiring reliable mechanical performance and dimensional stability.

Applications of Glass Fiber Reinforced PA66

  • Automotive Industry (Primary Applications): Engine hood panels, intake manifolds, radiator end caps, throttle brackets, fuel pump housings, headlight frames, high-voltage connectors for new energy vehicles, and small chassis components (oil- and heat-resistant).

  • Electronics and Electrical Equipment: Circuit breaker bases, terminal blocks, coil frames, power switch housings, power tool enclosures, and insulated socket components (insulation + heat resistance).

  • General Machinery: Small transmission gears, pump impellers, bearing housings, sprockets, load-bearing housings for instruments and meters, and wear-resistant transmission components.

  • Others: High-end outdoor hardware, structural components for fitness equipment, and precision load-bearing fittings for bathroom fixtures.

Core Characteristics of Glass Fiber Reinforced PA66

  • Ultra-high rigidity and low warpage: 30% glass fiber reinforcement, extremely low shrinkage rate, suitable for high-precision assembly components;

  • Enhanced heat resistance: Superior high-temperature resistance compared to GF20, suitable for high-temperature engine compartment conditions;

  • Low fiber protrusion for easy mass production: The optimized coupling modification process minimizes exposed glass fibers on the surface of Glass Fiber Reinforced PA66, ensuring a smoother appearance and stable performance during high-volume injection molding.

  • Customizable in Multiple Specifications: Cold-resistant (-40°C) toughened grades, UL94-V0 flame-retardant grades, and low-warpage specialty grades are all available upon request.

Processing Recommendations

  • Barrel temperature: 245–275°C

  • Mold temperature: 75–95°C

Dry the raw material at 85–105°C for 4–6 hours to remove moisture and prevent silver streaks and air bubbles in the product.
